VCBW Craft Beer & Music Festival returns to Vancouver July 2023.
The largest craft beer event in the Lower Mainland will be back for its 12th year. The festival will feature over 150 craft beers and ciders, with participating breweries and cideries from around the world. Alongside the various vendors, festival attendees can immerse themselves in two-days of jam-packed music from some of Canada’s top artists (2022 featured Bedouin Soundclash, Half Moon Run, Titus Bank, and Skratch Bastid).
While craft beer remains the cornerstone of the festival, VCBW 2023 will be a celebration of so much more. Breweries from BC and beyond, a lineup of notable Canadian artists, local art displays, and some of the city’s best chef pop-ups and food trucks will make for an immersive, lively event for Vancouver beer and music fans.
The VCBW Craft Beer & Music Festival will take place at the PNE Fairgrounds, 2901 East Hastings Street, Vancouver in July 2023. Safety and inclusivity remains a top priority for the annual festival as it welcomes everyone back. 2022 Musical Acts ['23 Coming Soon]
Bedouin Soundclash
Canadian indie rock and reggae royalty Bedouin Soundclash took a creative hiatus after climbing to the pinnacle of the Canadian music industry, and now they’re back better than ever to continue the next chapter in their singular genre-defying career – a career which has seen them celebrated at home and abroad with JUNO awards, Top 10 radio hits (When the Night Feels My Song, Walls Fall Down), and international tours with No Doubt, Ben Harper, The Interrupters, and Thievery Corporation. 2022 will see Bedouin Soundclash return with a brand new album on Dine Alone Records.
Titus Bank
Titus Bank has a voice that can stop an audience in its tracks. The Vancouver-based pop adventurer can effortlessly shift from a smooth croon to a soulful vibrato to a note-perfect howl — arresting and inviting; confident yet vulnerable.
He is now entering the next phase of an already-prolific music career with the unveiling of “I Do Yeah,” the first seismic single from his forthcoming debut solo album. While Titus previously made waves with his ambitious, song-a-day 365 Songwriting Challenge (during which he wrote, recorded and released 185 in the span of a year), “I Do Yeah” is the result of a shifting focus towards songwriting refinement over sheer quantity.
Half Moon Run
I’m proud of the fact that, as we live and grow, we’re able to continue to make music that evolves and changes and seems to be meaningful,” Conner Molander observes as his band, Half Moon Run, crosses the 10th-anniversary mark. “It’s not like we found a trick and had a successful album because of that trick, but 10 years is a long time to be with a group of people doing creative work. You have to keep on allowing yourself to change and grow… and leave things behind.
Scratch Bastid
Stage presence, technical prowess and versatile selections that span the complete musical spectrum—from hip hop to house, disco to dancehall, reggae to funk and back again—Bastid is a true crowd favourite with an unrivaled ability to create unforgettable moments with music.
