In 1996, at the very first ‘Hopscotch’, a few tables were set up to showcase whisky and beer to a small audience of about 200-people. In 2009, it traveled across the Coquihalla to begin its journey in Kelowna. Thirteen years later in 2022, Hopscotch is now the largest alcoholic showcase within the Okanagan, with over 6000 people attending each year. Hopscotch transforms what is normally the Kelowna Curling Rink into a spectacular Grand Tasting Hall filled with over 150 varieties of Craft and Premium Beers, Spirits from around the globe, the most delicious of Scotch and other Whiskies, as well as wines and different foods. Throughout the night, guests make their way around the tasting hall, enjoying old favourites and learning about new ones.
